Cassette tape noise recorded by playing empty cassette. Route thru a summit audio 2ba-221. No processing. Played on a tandberg tcd 310. Body stumbles and falls to ground, then staggers and gets up.

Six footsteps on grass with hiking boots. Each footstep is split by ~250 ms of silence. I layered a thud sound and me moving grass to make it. Recorded with a h4n 06/06/2020. Edited in audacity.

Rain light/moderate falls on the balkony made out of stone. High quality recording with rode nt1a (two times, stereo-mixdown). The rain sounds very close to the mic, very clear and with all the high frequencies catched. Hope someone can use it for whatever. . . I used it as an intro in a song :-).

City background children and traffic.

A short walk cycle on a concrete sidewalk with some ambient wind in the background - i really need a windshield. Loops seamlessly. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in audacity. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.

Stomping on a big cement ground as hard a possible with a contact mic attached to the ground. The contact mic provides lots of bass so you can use this for punches, kicks, impacts, anything that can use a sweeter for impacts. I handmade my contact mic and recorded that into a h5. Perfect for calm/relaxing nature background, 1st party vr experiences (if you do that let me know, i'd like to try it!) etc. Recorded with a zoom h1n held in hand while walking nd pointed towards the feet.

These footsteps are recorded in slightly windy conditions, despite the wind it is very much hearable.

Walking on a wooden floor with flip flops has a much different effect than walking on the same floor with different shoes.

Something went wrong on a mechanical device on top of the building that faces my balcony. I don't know what it is exactly (some fan. . . ) but the noise it produces is pretty theatrical. I just could'nt resist recording it. I belive this could be very useful to some of you looking for mechanical sounds. . . Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode.

Rubbing and sliding a wet shoe on a wet tire to make a rubber squeak/sliding sound. Recorded with a tascam dr-05.

I tried to make a friction drum by stringing a med handglove membrane to a wooden mortar. That mostly failed; i couldn’t control the pitch and make continuous sound. Here the membrane is stroked by a wooden pestle, making quite annoying sounds. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised and filtered bogus sub bass in audacity.
